Madison Area Alumni and Friends Tour Garver Feed Mill

 

 

 

Western Wisconsin alumni and friends explored the recently renovated Garver Feed Mill on March 11, 2020.  Bryant Moroder, Principal of the Sustainable Resource Group with project developer Baum Revision, led the tour.  The group was introduced to the historic Mill, which now features local artisans, producers, wellness studios, and retailers.  A networking happy hour at Ian's Pizza, located in Garver Mill, concluded the event.  Special thanks to Ashley Caldis (BBA 2009), Market Representative for the Western Wisconsin Region, for coordinating the event.

 

New York City Alums Cheer on Badgers

 

 

Alumni and friends from the New York City area gathered at Turnmill Bar on March 4, 2020 to enjoy networking and to support the Badger men's basketball team as they went up against the Northwestern Wildcats.  Many thanks to Matthew Rawlsky (BBA 2009), WREAA Market Representative for the Northeast - New York Region, for setting up the event.


Dallas, Texas Badgers Host Happy Hour

 

 

Dallas area alumni and friends kicked off the new year at a Happy Hour on February 13, 2020 at the Katy Trail Ice House, in Dallas Texas.  Thanks to Ryan Mueller (BBA 2011), for organizing the event.

 

WREAA Members and Friends Tour The Current in Madison Wisconsin

 

 

 

WREAA Alumni, students and friends gathered on February 12, 2020, for a tour of Monona’s Yahara River Redevelopment Project with Steve Doran, Principal of the Galway Companies.  Galway Companies is the developer of the 8 acre, 3 phase project.  Steve led the tour through The Current, a mixed-use residential development with a 96 unit apartment building anchored by 25,000 square feet of commercial space.  The group also enjoyed a tour of the 98-room five-story Avid Hotel, which is also on the development site.  Following the tour, WREAA sponsored a Happy Hour at Buck and Honeys, with appetizers graciously sponsored by Steve Doran. Kudos to Ashley Caldis (BBA 2009),  WREAA Market Representative for the Western Wisconsin Region, for organizing this event.

 

Northern California Region Supports Kincaid Fire Recovery Fund

 

 

 

Northern California badgers and friends gathered for a charity fundraiser for the ongoing Kincade fire relief and recovery effort.  Leadership from WREAA served up drinks at Ace's Bar in San Francisco.  The group enjoyed networking and prize drawings while cheering on the Wisconsin men's basketball team.  Cheers to Dan Flattery (BBA 2008), Northern California Regional Director, for organizing the event.
