Leadership Opportunities

Volunteer leadership has been the cornerstone of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association since its inception in 1976. The association is governed by a 16-member volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of alumni of the UW-Madison Real Estate and Urban Land Economics Program. The Board meets bi-annually to review the state of the alumni association and to develop vision that will set the direction for the organization. Learn more about available Board seats here.

WREAA Regional Market Directors are volunteers who are appointed by Regional Directors. WREAA Regional Market Directors fill an important role in representing the WREAA and UW Real Estate Program within their market area. They also work with Board Members in planning and executing local networking events for the benefit of their regional members.

Serve as a Market Director

Market directors facilitate membership growth and plan educational and networking opportunities within their market area through coordination and promotion of regional events. Plan a Regional Event

Do you have an idea for an industry panel topic or networking event? Do you know of a notable project that WREAA members would benefit from touring? Contact your Market Director or Regional Director to discuss the possibility of incorporating your idea into a regional event.
