WREAA members and friends recently came together in New York City to welcome faculty and students from the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate during their visit to the Big Apple. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for alumni and industry professionals to connect with Jacques Gordon, the incoming Director of the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at UW-Madison.

Guests also had the chance to meet Yongheng Deng, Department Chair, and Tim Carr, Program Director, as they shared updates and insights about the real estate program. With appetizers and drinks flowing, the evening buzzed with engaging conversations and networking among attendees.

In November, WREAA members and guests in the Eastern Wisconsin Region had the opportunity to tour the Wisconsin Center District's impressive Baird Center expansion in Milwaukee. The Baird Center has been transformed into the Midwest's most innovative convention center, thanks to its recent $456 million expansion and modernization project. The event was a perfect combination of learning and networking. Members were able to explore the cutting-edge facility and see firsthand how the space has evolved to meet the demands of today’s events and conventions. After the tour, attendees enjoyed a casual happy hour at The Vault with drinks and appetizers to keep the conversation going.

Boston Badgers kicked off the holiday season with a fun and festive event in Boston at Puttshack Seaport. Members and guests gathered for 18 holes of indoor miniature golf in a unique tech-infused environment. The event provided the perfect atmosphere for networking and laughter as participants navigated the mini-golf course and connected with fellow real estate professionals.

A special thank you to Senior Market Director Ryan Howard (BBA 2013) for organizing this memorable gathering for the Boston region. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the growing WREAA community.

Denver Holiday Party Brings Cheer to WREAA Members

WREAA members and guests in the Denver area kicked off the holiday season in style at the Denver Holiday Party, held at Millers & Rossi in the River North Art District. The festive gathering featured delicious appetizers, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow alumni.

The cozy setting of Millers & Rossi provided the perfect backdrop for conversations and holiday cheer. Attendees enjoyed catching up, making new connections, and celebrating another successful year for the WREAA community.
