5:00 PM Tour of UWM Accelerator Building on the Innovation Campus

1225 Discovery Parkway, Wauwatosa
Presenters: Curt Stang, COO of the UWM Real Estate Foundation and Sean Phelan, Partner of Phelan Development

Come to this "must see" tour of the UWM Accelerator Building, where "academia meets industry," as described by UWM foundation president Dave Gilbert. The building is the heart of the Innovation Campus and is intended to foster activity that gets technology patented and into the marketplace. Our tour guide will describe how this collaboration between business, academia and local, county and the federal government-no small feat- came to fruition.

Happy Hour to follow at Café Hollander with Presentation
7677 W. State Street, Wauwatosa
Presenter: Sean Phelan, Owner of Cafe Bavaria and Partner of Phelan Development

Refreshments with a presentation by Cafe Bavaria Owner Sean Phelan of his new restaurant, which is under development across from Cafe Hollander. Wauwatosa's downtown has emerged as one of the area's "go-to" spots for great local food and drink venues, and Cafe Bavaria promises to continue the trend.

Parking
Surface parking available at the Accelerator Building, though attendees are cautioned to allow adequate time to maneuver through Zoo Interchange construction-related activity. At the tour conclusion, head south on Discovery Parkway to WPR and head east on WPR until it concludes, at a municipal parking lot located at the railroad tracks. This parking lot is across the tracks from Cafe Hollander.
