Bruce Johnson (MS 1972) Managing Director and CFO of Regency Centers and Wendell Kurtz (BBA 1978) Managing Director of Allianz of America worked together to place $62.5 million of permanent financing on the 4S Commons Town Center located in the master planned 4S Ranch community of San Diego, California.
The 4S Ranch is one of only five communities in San Diego designed and built according to strict "fire safe" construction standards. The shopping center was completed in 2007 and is anchored by Ralphs, CVS, Bed Bath and Beyond, Ace Hardware, Bank of America and Wells Fargo. In celebration of the transaction, a significant donation was made by the parties to the Wisconsin Connection Fund.
